This was our very first week of KG2, and the students have settled in beautifully. They spent time reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. Together, we explored our classroom and discovered the different play areas.
We also enjoyed some special stories about starting school, including The Color Monster Goes to School and How Do Dinosaurs Go to School? To help us learn how to care for our classroom books, we read Mr. Wiggles’ Book and even created our own Mr. Wiggles using fast-drying playdough.
Next week, we are excited to begin phonics with the /s/ sound and start our math journey with the number 1—because every adventure begins at the beginning!
