Grade 8:
This week, Grade 8 students delved into the fascinating world of circles by learning how to calculate arc length and sector area. By combining geometry with real-world contexts, they discovered how these concepts are applied in designing circular objects and structures.
Grade 9:
Grade 9 students focused on evaluating linear and quadratic functions graphically. Through interactive graphing activities and collaborative problem-solving tasks, they developed a deeper understanding of how functions behave and how to interpret their visual representations.
Grade 10:
Our Grade 10 students began exploring their next steps in Mathematics as they transition to the IB Diploma Programme. Discussions around DP course selections and how these align with their future aspirations have been a highlight this week.
Grade 12:
Having completed their IB May Exams last week, Grade 12 students can now take a moment to reflect on their hard work and dedication throughout the year. Best wishes to all of them as they move closer to completing this milestone!
Looking Ahead:
Next week, we’ll continue building on these topics, with more hands-on activities for Grades 8 and 9, and further guidance for Grade 10 students in making informed DP selections. Let’s keep up the great momentum!
