This Week in Our Classrooms
Grade 8 students have embarked on an exciting journey into the world of 3D geometry, exploring the volumes of various shapes such as prisms, pyramids, cylinders, cones, and spheres. Through hands-on activities and real-world examples, they are deepening their understanding of these concepts. Grade 9 students have begun learning how to determine the domain and range of functions using graphical representations. By analyzing graphs, they are building their foundational skills in understanding functional relationships. Grade 10 students spent this week reviewing and discussing their MYP E-assessment questions from last week. This reflective approach has provided them with valuable insights into their strengths and areas for growth. Grade 12 students are fully immersed in their IB May Exams, taking on this important milestone today and tomorrow. We wish them the very best and are proud of their hard work and dedication.
Student Spotlight
A special mention goes to the Grade 8 students for their enthusiasm in applying volume formulas to solve real-world problems. Their teamwork and creativity have been inspiring!
Looking Ahead
Next week, Grade 9 students will delve deeper into functional transformations, while Grade 8 students will begin applying volume concepts to practical challenges. For our Grade 12 students, we will continue to support them through their remaining IB exams.
