Grade 8 have continued to work on promoting Autism Awareness Month as part of their SA. Today ABIS held a ‘Wear It Blue’ day across the school, which a lot of the students and staff got involved in.
Once again, it’s been a pleasure to teach the G8 English group. We have continued to look at Science Fiction narrative conventions. The students have a good grasp of what should be included in their own Sci-Fi stories, which we will start planning very soon. I can’t wait to see the finished results! Today, I think they surprised themselves with some short, descriptive sentences they wrote- I have felt immensely proud of them and for the effort they have all made this week!!
