Grade 1 enjoyed another trip this week and, although some people may not enjoy grocery shopping, our students were full of interest and enthusiasm! I was very proud of their behaviour and they were amazing inquirers- many doing the interviews of staff independently and then translating for me! They were very excited to search for all the items on our Scavenger Hunt sheet and got the idea of how items are arranged very quickly.

We located and bought Ramadan boxes for our school custodians, maintenance and gardeners. Then several helping hands wheeled the trolleys back to the bus, even though some could not see over the trolley- friends came to help!

Today the children have created some imaginative and colourful ‘Thank You’ pictures to attach to the box and we will give them out to staff next week. This is a wonderful way to take positive action and appreciate the people who help us in our school community.

Have a peaceful weekend everyone.
