¨ Art Studio Weekly Podcast¨

Week of Creativity and Exploration!

Welcome back to another exciting episode of the Art Studio Weekly Podcast, where we dive into the amazing creative journeys happening in our classrooms! This week was full of artistic adventures across all grades, and we can’t wait to share what our talented young artists have been up to!

KG1 made a splash with their adorable jellyfish creations, using strings and paper plates to bring these sea creatures to life!

KG2 continued their Under the Sea project, adding layers of color and texture with crepe paper and foam, making their ocean scenes even more magical.

Grade 1 took creativity to new heights literally! They designed and built an installation using styrofoam and sticks, creating an impressive art piece that could be displayed in an airport.

Grade 2 kept dreaming big as they worked on their dream houses, experimenting with different media like crayons and colored pencils to bring their architectural visions to life.

Grade 3 embarked on an exciting journey into ancient symbols and sculptures! Some students started crafting their own imaginary symbols to create Khartouch, while others molded old statues using clay.

Grade 4 explored the magic of tones, learning how to blend and transition from dark to light using paints. Their experiments with shading and depth are already showing great results!

Grade 5 continued their pinch pot project, carefully shaping and refining their clay forms. It’s incredible to see their patience and skill grow with each step!

Grade 6 is pushing forward on their PYP Exhibition art projects, bringing their big ideas to life through creative expression and artistic techniques. This is a major milestone, and their dedication is truly inspiring!

It was an incredible week, filled with exploration, creativity, and hands-on learning.  You all worked so hard, and now it’s time to take a well-deserved break!

Enjoy your long weekend, recharge, and get ready for another exciting week of art-making! Until next time, keep creating and keep imagining!

Stay inspired, and see you next week on Art Studio Weekly!
