In Grade 8 for the last 5 weeks or so we have been discussing houses and rooms. The students learnt key target language to be able to describe where they live, say what they like about their house and bedroom, and talk about their favorite French castle. Have you heard of Chambord, Chenonceau or Versailles? They are some of the most famous castles in France, all located in the Centre of France and all connected to the history of the country. Ask the Grade 8 French students if you want to know more about these architectural beauties!
As we have now reached the end of the unit, all the students had to perform a dialogue in which they used the key language and cultural information studied in this unit. They all did very well and can now talk about their house in details.
