Dear Secondary Families
I would like to thank all of our parents who were able to attend our 3 Way Conferences this week. We had an excellent turn out and it was wonderful to see all parties engaged in meaningful discussions about progress, strengths, goals and areas for improvement. This collaborative approach ensures that all voices are heard and valued. Agency is a core value of the International Baccalaureate (IB) and these conferences are an excellent way to facilitate this. Please continue to communicate with teachers and encourage your child to talk about their learning journey at home.
Book Fair
The following message was shared earlier this week and I feel it is worth sharing again:
We are thrilled to share that ABIS School will be hosting an exciting Book Fair from November 10-14, open daily from 8 AM to 4 PM in Mazoon Hall!
This event presents a fantastic opportunity to inspire a love of reading and support our school community. The Book Fair will showcase a wide variety of books for all ages, including fiction, non-fiction, and educational materials, available in both Arabic and English.
Plus, the prices are incredibly attractive, starting from just 1 OMR up to 10 OMR!
We invite parents and students to explore our offerings, discover new favourites, and enjoy various activities throughout the week.
ASA Season 2
Please note that the second season of ASAs will begin on Sunday. I hope your child has signed up to an activity or activities of their choosing and is looking forward to new experiences.
Have a lovely weekend!
