Dear Parents,
I am pleased to share that we have wrapped up the week on a high note, thanks to the wonderful turnout at last night’s parent-teacher visits. It was fantastic to see so many of you engaging with your child’s teachers, and we look forward to organising more of these opportunities throughout the year. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended.
The ABIS Parent Committee will be having its first meeting soon. The committee members for this year are:

• Alina Erakova
The Parent Committee serves an important role in our school community, with the following responsibilities:
• Supporting the school by advising, exploring, and helping to implement ways to improve ABIS, including realising our mission and vision.
• Encouraging parent involvement by assisting in the organisation of activities and events that foster parent engagement and enhance the school’s atmosphere.
• Serving as a point of contact for parents regarding broader school topics such as events and engagement of the community.
• Collaborating with the Student Council to organize events and activities that engage the school community and have a positive impact on the local community.
Additionally, we are looking to add two new members to the Parent Committee. If you’re interested, the process is: email z.alabdulsalam@abisoman.com stating your interest. The committee will select new members based on their years at the school, ability to attend the once a month meeting from 5-6 pm, and willingness to support the school’s initiatives as outlined above.
