Dear parents and students,
The first week of school has gone very well. Our students, both new and returning, have settled in smoothly, bringing a positive energy to our school.
We are delighted to welcome our new teachers, who have already shown remarkable enthusiasm and professionalism. Together with our experienced returning teachers, they are forming a dynamic and collaborative team that promises to create an outstanding learning environment for our students.
Over the past two weeks, we conducted an orientation for new staff, followed by professional development sessions for all teachers and classroom assistants. These sessions allowed our new staff to settle in and collaborate with their returning colleagues, resulting in a highly successful start. I am grateful for the energy and commitment everyone has shown. As we move forward, I am confident that this collective strength will inspire our students to reach their full potential.
I have been greeting students and parents at the front gate in the mornings and its been wonderful to see our returning families reconnect and to welcome new members into our ABIS community. The sense of community has been strong, and I want to thank everyone for their support this week. It’s been a pleasure visiting learning areas and seeing how engaged the students are with being back at school.
Over the summer, we conducted maintenance and improvements to our facilities and buildings, and we are very pleased with the results. Both students and staff have responded positively to the refreshed environment, which sets a solid foundation for the school year.
A reminder: school uniforms are available for purchase on our online shop, with new stock arriving early next week.
Thank you again for your support. We look forward to a productive and fulfilling year ahead!
Enjoy your weekend.
