Dear Families
It has been a busy week at school! On the weekend a group of our students attended the Model United Nations (MUN) in Muscat. As always, they were a credit to themselves and school. There were over 400 delegates in attendance and one of our Grade 12 students was awarded top delegate! Thank you to Mr Murga and Ms Lloyd for organising and attending the trip.
On Monday night we held our first Coffee House. Our Music Students from Grades 10,11 and 12 performed a variety of music with different instruments in order to collect evidence of a live performance for their IB Diploma. Parents, teachers and students rotated around each performance in a relaxed environment. It was a lovely evening that demonstrated how hard our students have been working. Well done to all involved and Ms Lloyd for putting the evening together. Thank you to all parents who were able to attend.
We are excited about the planned activities for Oman Week between the 11th – 15th February and all information has been shared with parents and students. During that week, Grade 7 will attend a two night Watersports Camp at Sifah Beach; Grade 8 & 10 will attend a two night Sailing Camp at Mussanah Resort; Grade 9 will attend a three night Mountain Camp at Jebel Shams; Grade 11 & 12 will be doing a variety of different activities in and around Muscat for three days. It is the intention that all students will attend the trips. Please take note of the deadlines for deposits and permission slips. The trips will only be able to go ahead if we have enough students signed up.
Today we had our monthly House Competition in Secondary. The Grade 9 students planned and organised a dodgeball competition. All students participated and the Yellow Foxes came out on top!
Have a lovely weekend.
