Dear Families
This week we concluded our IB examinations for this academic year. I would like to congratulate all of our Grade 10,11 and 12 students for working so hard to accomplish this task. They have conducted themselves in a diligent and mature manner, displaying many of the IB learner profile traits. Our attention now focusses on supporting students in all grades to complete their final classroom assessments.
Today we welcomed our current Grade 6 students into the Secondary School. They experienced a day of MYP classes and had an opportunity to meet some of their teachers for next year. They also got to work with our Grade 7 students and ask them questions. Over the last few weeks, we will continue to support them in this important transition from the PYP to MYP. We are also now looking at the transition of our Grade 10 students into the Diploma Programme next year. In partnership with parents, students have already chosen their courses and received all relevant information. Before the end of this academic year, they will now move from their Grade 10 learning space to the DP area in our LC3 building.
Next Thursday we are planning an after school secondary event to give students an opportunity to spend some fun time together in our outstanding facilities. Full details of this event have been sent to all parents by email. Please note that attendance to the event will only be accepted if the permission slips are returned to Ms Perin before the evening.
