This week in maths students worked in teams using the concepts and formulas of volumes to create and build a sculpture using rectangular prisms. They then had to peer assess another group. In language we continued to explore poetry through both reading and creating poetry focusing on the fact that poetry can mean different things to different people. In UOI we explored the threats that animals and ecosystems face and we recorded the cause and effects of a variety of impacts. We also worked on our websites, adding information about our endangered animals, including: labelled diagrams, life cycles and food webs.
We look forward to seeing many of you at tonight’s Iftar at ABIS and expect mid-semester reports to be sent to you at the end of next week to let you know how your child is progressing as we look ahead to entering the final term of the school year.
