After an overview of the the History course yesterday, Grade 11 jumped right in today, charting the peace treaties of 1919-20. Students spent the period mind mapping what they know about the topic, either from previous learning or from their readings. I was impressed with their enthusiasm and teamwork in this activity. This prefaces our first unit of the year, the fascist dictatorships of Hitler and Mussolini.
