This week in PHE, grade 7 students had to complete a summative assessment task for their international games unit. Each student had to choose one of the three international games explored during this unit and create an infographic to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of the learned content. This summative assessment also allowed students to develop or refine their digital literacy skills. Students were given the option to use Google SlidesPiktoChart, or Slidesgo to design their infographics. They had to decide what they wanted their audience to learn about their chosen sport, for example, how to play the game or share interesting facts about it. Students are at different levels of understanding, so it was interesting and informative to see each student’s creative thinking and digital literacy skills.
