We had an amazing time exploring a Wadi ecosystem this week as part of our Unit of Inquiry. Please find all of the photographs from this trip here. We wanted to record all of the living and non-living components within this particular ecosystem so that we can explore the interdependence of all of these components making links and connections between them. We would also like to thank the Grade 5 parents who arranged a special early Birthday celebration for Ms Khadija! We are so lucky to have her and thank you for showing your appreciation.
In maths we have been looking at the perimeter and areas of 3 dimensional shapes and objects and have started to explore the concept of volume. In language we have been both reading, and writing, different forms of poetry and using this as a means of expressing ourselves.
Ramadan Kareem to everyone observing the holy month of Ramadan. We will be running a reduced timetable from Sunday – Wednesday with students going home at 2pm, but will continue with normal timings on Thursday, with students leaving as normal at 1pm.
