It has been a very busy week for everybody and so much going on! We started out by watching the first Primary Musical Performance at ABIS in a long time. It was great to be able to support some of our classmates as their months of hard work paid off and they showcased their acting talents. In maths this week we started a new unit looking at perimeter, area and volume. In Language we have started to read and indeed write and explore poetry. We also started our new Unit of Inquiry by watching Dr Seuss’s: The Lorax movie, the link has been shared with the students and it’s a great movie to watch as a family, while exploring the bigger issues of protecting our planet! We also had a quick tutorial from Ms Lloyd about how to safely catch and examine bugs without hurting them or themselves. This will be an important factor in our trip to explore Wadi Hibi and examine the ecosystem within the area.
