Dear ABIS Community,
As you know, countless people in Turkey and Syria have been deeply affected by this week’s tragic earthquake. We are in a position to help. The Turkish Embassy in Muscat is collecting donations of items that are desperately needed right now. They will then be flown by Turkish Airlines to affected areas.
Please join us in acting fast to support these efforts. There is a list of needed donation items at the end of this email. Please bring your donations to Ms. Eiman in the LC3 no later than Sunday morning. The school will then arrange for delivery to the Turkish Embassy so that they can be distributed without delay. Your participation is greatly appreciated!

List of requested donation items:
Winter clothes for adults and children, overcoats, raincoats, boots, trousers, sweaters, scarves, gloves, beanies, socks, diapers, baby formula, cleaning and hygiene products, women’s hygiene products, blankets, sleeping bags, thermos bottles/flasks, flashlights/torches, and non-perishable food items such as legumes, rice, bulger, flour, cooking oil, salt, canned foods, etc.
**If bringing a large box of items, an itemized list of its contents will be appreciated.
