Dear all,
We had a great week in Grade 4. We began to unpack our new Unit of Inquiry “How We Organize Ourselves.” Students are beginning to think of what it means to be a citizen and how governments help us.
In Math we took a closer look at fractions. Students were able to use the correct vocabulary when identifying fractions. They also learned how to find equivalent fractions and the missing number in equivalent fractions.
Please remind students to bring their Math and Reading homework on Sunday. Most of our students are below grade level in Reading and many below grade level in Math therefore they need the extra practice at home. I have seen improvements and look forward to their continued academic growth and development.
