Week 16
Dear KG2 Families,
Welcome back! Throughout this week, the children talked about their winter holidays. It sounds like everyone had a nice break.
It was great to see that the children were well rested and ready for their first full day of school. We would like to congratulate our little learners who adapted to our long days quickly.
This week was also our assessment week. We completed Numeracy and Phonics Assessments in order to determine the needs of our students.
In Mathematics, we continue to reinforce students’ understanding of number sense through number games and learning engagements. In Literacy, we continued to learn new letters/sounds and focus on previous letters we learned.
