It has been so great to meet so many of you at the 3 Way Conferences this week and celebrate the progress that students have made so far in Grade 5. Having your support is so valuable and we thank you for all the positivity and support of your child’s learning.

This week we started our new unit about multiplication and division with decimal numbers. We also had the opportunity to attend a Maths workshop. In reading we have been learning more about forces and motion and learning lots more about Rube Goldberg machines. In writing we started to plan and draft our back story which is related to the Rube Goldberg machines we plan to build.

There is a House Team reading challenge to see how many students we can find reading books in different locations in Oman! Grade 5 students are off to a good start and we are asking them to add their books to the Grade 5 Slideshow. Start clicking those photos parents! It’s a November only event…

We wish you all a Happy National Day of Oman and hope you enjoy the celebrations.
