Dear all

It was great to see our Primary and Secondary students together this week in their House Teams. This was the first time since Covid restrictions that they have formally got together. We now look forward to Sports Day and other house competitions in the future.

Next week, we will be holding our 3 Way Conferences.  You have received the Conference Sign Up Link via Newsflash.  Please be sure to choose a time for these important meetings with your child(ren) and their teachers.  These conversations are about learning so far this year: accomplishments, goals and next steps.  They are a great way to ensure we are all working together as a team to support student learning.  Secondary and DP teachers will be based in LC2, while all specialists will be set up in LC1 Atrium for your convenience. We look forward to welcoming all of you on campus next week for these important meetings. Please note that due to the conferences, there will be no ASA’s next week.

Next Friday, Nov. 18th, is Oman’s National Day.  We will acknowledge Oman at school by asking students to wear their best Oman clothing to school, either traditional dress or national colours of red, white and green. This is always a special day for students and we are excited to celebrate again this year together.

Today you received an email about the Reading in Oman House Team competition.  Please encourage your child to participate by sending a photo of themselves reading somewhere interesting in Oman.  This competition will run from Sunday, Nov. 13 until Wednesday, Nov. 30, with points being earned for the most number of photos contributed per House Team.

Have a great weekend!
