A busy last week of Term 1 for the Grade 5 students. They were pushed with full on Biography publishing, maths assessments, shared reading, writing assessments and they all worked extremely hard to show what they have learned this term.

We also started the ‘Tuning In’ stage for our new Unit of Inquiry, which included some very competitive games of tug ‘o’ war! We are keen to get out to visit some of our parents work places where we can see first hand how forces and motion work together in the world around us. Please get in touch if we can visit your place of work or if you would be willing to come in to talk to the students about forces and motion in your workplace.

We wish all our students and families a well earned and restful end of term break and we look forward to seeing all students back in school on Sunday 6th November.

Best wishes from the Grade 5 Teaching Team
