We had a wonderful week in Grade 4 this week! Students were so excited about this week’s assembly on Thursday. They all practiced really hard to prepare for the assembly and I am very proud of them for their efforts.
- Please remember the Math Homework packet I sent home is due on Sunday October 16th. Review the answers with your child to make sure they understand the concepts of place value, rounding to the nearest ten, hundred, and thousandth, comparing, ordering, and reading and writing numbers. The Math assessments they take at ABIS will continue to test them on these math concepts so your support from home is really appreciated.
- Students took their placement tests for the Nessy application this week and are logged on and ready to go! We will be using this application in class to increase student achievement in Reading and Spelling.
- Please make sure your child is reading on the Reading A-Z website 15-20 minutes each night. Students have already received their username and passwords.
