Monday’s swimming event against TAISM was the highlight of the week. We proved how competitive we are despite our smaller numbers. We were really grateful to TAISM for making the journey down to ABIS, and they also wrote a really appreciative email for the way in which they were hosted and the event was run. Once again, we were really proud of our students and the way in which they performed. Thank you to ‘Coach Carberry’ for all his hard work in developing this part of school life.

On Tuesday next week we have a girls basketball game against Sohar International School (at ABIS starting at 4:30). This is our ‘first ever’ competitive sports fixture against SIS and an exciting development. Though our girls are nervous, we are sure that it will be a worthwhile experience, whether the final score favours us or not. The more competitive fixtures our students play, the better they will become.
