We had great fun on Sunday finding our way around Sohar Park by using a compass. It was a great and new experience for many.

Edit

On Wednesday Grade 4D, Grade 5 and Grade 3 joined forces to compete in a Mathletics competition. This is something run in New Zealand every year. It involves children working in groups of 4 to solve math problems. When children have solved a problem they run to the front of the room to check if it is correct. If it is then they are given the next problem. Each runner runs the same course to make it fair. Hence the name Math – Letics. Combining math and athletics. The kids had a great time and worked very well through the math problems. Children have posted a reflection on their websites.
