Grade 2 is looking BLUE, but feeling HAPPY!
We got another chance today to help Mr. Clarke paint the theatre. The wind was strong and the job was bigger, but we managed to get the bottom of the stage painted! A bigger job means a bigger challenge, and most of us ended up with blue hands, blue fingers, blue arms and some blue faces! BUT the good news is that the theatre will be finished today! A HUGE thank you to Mr. Clarke for letting us help paint, and for working hard to make sure the theatre is finished on time. Ms. Fatma also put in some extra hours to help paint today, so Grade 2 also owes her a big thank you.
We’ve also FINALIZED our performance dates. We will have one full dress rehearsal, and 2 performance times. The first performance time is just for parents, and the second performance time we will be inviting other students to watch, however parents are welcome to attend the second performance as well.
Dress Rehearsal: WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 21ST @ 8:30am
Performance 1: MONDAY, JANUARY 26TH @ 8:30am
Performance 2: MONDAY, JANUARY 26TH @10:45am
**Dress Rehearsal** Students have been asked to bring clothes from home and make accessories to wear as part of their costumes for the play. Wearing a costume is optional, but encouraged.
Hope to see you on Monday!
