Today we had a chance to help Mr. Clarke with painting the theatre. We were SO excited to be able to help out. Mr. Clarke was very patient with us and taught us how to be careful with the oil paint. We only managed to paint for a few minutes before the wind picked up and started blowing our paint trays around and making us nervous that rain was coming! Even though we were very careful, some of us still ended up with blue paint on our hands and this make take a few days to come off. Baby oil or Vicks Vapor Rub (which contains turpentine oil) may help to take some of the paint off your child’s hands. Despite being interrupted by the weather, we feel very proud that we were able to contribute to the painting of the theatre. Thanks again Mr. Clarke for letting us help and for cleaning up after us!
