Wow! What a week in sports for our students. On Saturday 20 of our top swimmers travelled to ABA in Muscat to compete in a time trial swim meet which included the top swimmers of the Oman Swimming Association as well as those from TAISM and ABA. Our swimmers put in some fantastic performances with all swimmers recording personal bests, most of them in all three events they competed in. Tamika, Sara, Christine, Coco, Courtney, Lotus, Taya and Kerry Ann knocked 5 seconds off some of their previous best times while our new swimmers Amara, Lilli, Natalie and Bobby put in excellent performances against older opposition.
In the boys David came in as the top 14 year old backstroke swimmer while Anton and Isaac finished in the top three in their strokes. Kameron also knocked 5 seconds off his freestyle time while Sachin and Abhishek did a great job in their events against some top opposition. Our young boy swimmers Jules and Jai swam some great races with Jai finishing in the top 6 in the grueling 10 and under butterfly event.
Well done to all our swimmers and a big thank you to the parents for their support in getting us there.
