Grade 10s are half-way through the preparatory stage of their IGCSE coursework projects. They are now taking their ideas into an experimental stage: they have been and will be using media such as charcoal, pen and ink, chalk pastels, oil pastels, watercolours, acrylic paint, photography, collage, spray-paint and stenciling. They can even decide to use three-dimensional media such as clay, wire, plaster or card to take their ideas further. After this stage they will develop the form of their ideas or compositions for their final piece.
