We’ve arrived at the first holiday, which feels very early though I haven’t heard anyone complain. Obviously it has been a very difficult week for the school and we all go into the holidays feeling very emotional, yet relieved that our Primary students (many brothers and sisters of Secondary students) are ok. The whole school assembly today was great fun and I felt just what we needed to lift our spirits and bring us together.

Today, Secondary students said a sad farewell to Angelique Prinsloo, who has been at the school for seven years. Expatriate life is often fleeting (short) though Angelique has been here since the beginning of the school when there were about 30 odd students in a villa. We wish the Prinsloo family all the best for the next stage in their journey and thank them for their long-standing support of the school.

If you have a holiday planned this week, I wish you a relaxing time.
