Well, there hasn’t been much English going on this week – except the Grade 7 Dystopia magazine project – as the rest of the grades had exams. It wouldn’t be particularly interested to talk about tests and scores – other than the fact that such tests are very useful opportunities for providing useful feedback to students and give them a clear pathway for improvement – so I’ll focus on something else. As part of Grade 11’s IB Diploma English course we examine the origins of words, known as etymology.
