We have begun our unit on fractions. What better way to start than with the question “Would you rather have 1/10th of a chocolate bar or 1/2? We learnt that the bigger the number on the bottom, the smaller the piece of chocolate we would get.
Then we created our Fraction Walls to help us see which fractions were the same, smaller or bigger.
