We have spent most of this year doing statistics and measurement, with a slight detour into mensuration (measurement of shapes, area, volume, and surface area). In
measurements, we considered HOW we measure distances to various places – local distance and direction, as well as using estimates to calculate distances of great magnitude (circumference of the earth, distances to other planetary bodies)
Grade 11 will be doing an end-of-year exam on 24 May 2021. It will be one 2-hour paper to be done at home and submitted online. It will cover all the work we have done this year (and accumulated mathematical knowledge of previous years). Encourage and support your teenagers to focus on this last hurdle!
