Dear parents,

We are now going on our annual Spring Break for a week, with students returning to school on Monday March 8. Teachers will return a day earlier for a professional development day.

The school is operating smoothly and we are pleased that our safety and health protocols are all maintained at a high level. Teachers and students continue to practice face mask wearing, physical distancing and sanitizing of hands. Desks continue to be separated, entrances to each grade level upheld and activities across the school carefully monitored.

It is very pleasing that the final amount raised by the student Walkathon raised a grand total of OMR 2143. Congratulations to all the participants, this is an excellent result!

A survey has been sent out to get feedback from parents on whether for the next academic year we should have an earlier start to the day, and whether Thursday should continue to finish earlier or become a full school day. Please do help by submitting your answers to the survey here.

Yesterday we had the soft launch of our new student kitchen and the students were enthusiastic in using it, see the picture below. After the Spring Break we will be holding a competition across the school to find a name for the student kitchen.

Please enjoy and relax during the Spring Break, stay safe, and have a wonderful time with family and friends.
