We started the week seeing some examples of weaving that Rawnaq brought to school. Her Grandmother and uncle showed her how to weave with date leaves.
The surprise of ice blocks to celebrate our efforts for the Walkathon last week was most welcome! What a fantastic achievement to raise almost 2,000 rial for the Orphan Charity. A big thank you for your generous support.
It was great to finish publishing the letters we wrote to ourselves for when we turn 18. It was fun designing the envelope. For some this was their first time writing on an envelope. They should be lovely to open in 9 years time.
To conclude our learning about artefacts we each chose an Omani artefact to describe and have almost finished publishing these. Ms Ahlam enjoyed reading our work.
