This week K 2 finished the unit “Where the wild things are!” by visiting a farm. Before our visit we thought about what animals we might see and decided to look for cows.
We watched a video about how cream comes from cows and how it can be used to make a trifle. As there was jelly and jam in a trifle and we were doing the “j” sound in phonics the students decided we had to make trifles.
We took photos of the process and made an instruction book which we will give to K3 next week as they are learning about writing instructions.
