A wet and watery end to the week, but we are happy to say that the Secondary School survived unscathed. A pleasing number of students made it into school today, often with stories to tell about the rain and very large puddles, and they have been industriously working this morning and earning their afternoon rest, if having a day off school yesterday wasn’t enough.

The school is currently reviewing all of the work that has been done so far this year on our curriculum site and we will be intensively evolving this area as we attempt to answer several very important questions: is this the best curriculum we can offer with our resources? Does it suit the needs and future requirements of our students? What opportunities are there for staff to work together in different subjects and grades to reinforce student learning? Having a fully developed website that captures all of this data for the first time will allow us to answer these questions successfully. It will also ensure that newly arriving teachers know exactly what has been taught and can hit the ground running, ensuring a smooth transition!

I wish you a wonderful weekend. I look forward to seeing the Omani landscape becoming greener than ever!
