What a truly terrific and tremendous week. The Grade 2s worked so hard, displayed the best manners and were so eager to share their thoughts, ideas and questions. I was also very impressed by how frequently they complimented each other.
In class, we have been exploring procedural writing in our homes, as well as practising making our own written and video procedures.
We have continued to work on our number knowledge by looking at place value, ten facts and fact families.
However, I think the highlight of the week for the students was learning the meaning of the word ‘Frindle!’
