Today we made an Oman fact file. We drew pictures and used our iPads to look up the answers to lots of questions about Oman.
Then we went into the gym and learned about traditional Omani crafts, we saw weaving, bread making, heard about dhows, weddings and Omani perfumes. The girls had henna painted on their hand and then we listened to the story of Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves in both Arabic and English. Next we tasted tea and Omani foods.
Finally the children watched a fashion show put on by a local school.
