Thank you to the CAS students: Mahana and Trina for organizing our Beach Clean up next to Sohar Beach Hotel. As I arrived the municipal cleaners and the rubbish truck were leaving and I was concerned that we may have nothing to clean up. Well, that certainly was not the case and there was still plenty to clean up; from the nets that a large group of people worked together to dig up, to lots of bottle tops and micro plastic bits that had potential to land up in our sea animals stomachs. Thank you to parents, teachers and students who came along to help. It certainly felt like a worthwhile effort and the beach looked a whole lot cleaner.
