After 4 games in the Secondary Inter House Basketball competition it was all tied in an interesting way. The Leopards and Desert Foxes had both own two games while the Falcons and Dolphins had both lost two games. In the first game for third spot Dolphins were out to a good 8 – 0 lead before Chloe started to find some form. She scored the next 12 points to give the Falcons a well earned 12 – 8 win and third spot.
The top of the table clash turned out to be another exciting game with both teams playing strong defense and giving everything they had. It was virtually basket for basket the whole way through with the Foxes keeping their noses in front for most of the game. A great basket from Williams for the Leopards in the last few minutes looked to have changed the momentum but a turnover gave Christine the chance to seal the game in the last seconds. Well done Foxes on a great team effort with strong defense from David and Alex and the scoring spread evenly amongst team.
