We loved our homework this week! To support our ecosystems unit of Inquiry we chose an animal to research and then we shared our information with a small group today.
We learned a lot about different animals by listening to each other and we also learned some more about being a researcher. When it was time to share our information, we realised we needed to understand the information well enough to be able to explain it to others.
We also classified our animals into groups and found that most of the animals we researched were mammals and invertebrates.
One of our reading groups practised and performed the play ‘The Three Billy Goats Gruff’. Performing while wearing a mask took a bit of adjusting to. The actors did a superb job projecting their voices.
We loved being able to get in the pool and swim at the swim gala on Wednesday. Many of us faced challenges on the day and felt proud of ourselves afterwards.
