During STEAM this week, students used carrots to measure things around the classroom. Studies show students get a better understanding of measurement using non-customary units and tools. The students enjoyed the opportunity to explore and choose which items to measure. It created great connections between our unit of inquiry and measurement.
Lastly, students planned with their peers to act out or draw their weekly spelling words.
