We tried a really tough activity where a big group of us had to get from one side of the yard to the other without stepping off the mat. Honestly, it didn’t go so well! But we learned a lot. It really helped to watch the video and reflect on what went well and what didn’t.

Being Reflective is an important part of being a PYP student. It means to give thoughtful consideration to our own learning and experience. It helps us to assess and understand our strengths and limitations so we can support our learning and personal development.

You can support your child in being a Reflective learner by watching the video with them on their website. Talk about what was tough, what went well and even what they feel they could improve on with this activity. If they could do this again, what would they do the same and what would they do differently? Complete a reflection by recording what they say in the comments section of the website post to capture their thoughts…it’s a fabulous record of their personal development!
