The ECC prides itself on being proactive with STEAM (Science, technology, Engineering, Art and Maths.) projects. As this week is Dot week we took some small sweets and added boiling water to create a beautiful rainbow pattern. The children enjoyed the process of placing their sweets and watching the transformation take place. They were able to describe the patterns which we hope to recreate next week using other materials.
