This week the students made a cover for an autobiography. We looked at some titles of famous autobiographies so we could get an idea of what to call ours. I wanted them to choose a clever title and make a book cover with a blurb. Lots of references to living in the hottest place on Earth not surprisingly!
We also spent our afternoons using our mathematical knowledge to make cardboard robots using 3D shapes. Lots of innovative ideas came forward and the work looked wonderful when it was finished.
