Our first film is something that the whole family will love, Rogers and Hammerstein’s classic, The Sound of Music. Since it’s release in 1965, families all over the world have fallen in love with this movie, earning it the title of “The happiest sound in all the world.” This film is rated G, meaning it is appropriate for all audiences.

For our second film, we head to Bollywood for 2009’s 3 Idiots. This musical comedy stars Aamir Khan as Rancho, a university student who dances to the beat of his own drum. This film is at the same time sad, hilarious, uplifting and inspiring, and has a message that is important for all students; Pursue excellence, and success will follow, pants down. This film is rated PG-13, which means that some material in the film may be unsuited for children under the age of 13. Students who are in G5 and up are permitted to view this film, but if your child is under the age of 13, (s)he will need your permission to join. If you wish to learn more, head to this website.
