It was a privilege this week to view Andee’s art exhibition. She had created a variety of very interesting artworks made with a great variety of materials. After making our own self portraits recently we were able to appreciate how much time and how good her self portraits were.
We had some fun dramatising ‘prey’ and ‘predators’ as part of our Ecosystem learning. It was easy to tell which was which but not so easy to tell what animal was being shown. We will work on our acting and performing skills in our next UoI.
Our class have done a close inquiry into rainforests as an Ecosystem, while Grade 2J were inquiring into the desert as an Ecosystem. On Wednesday the students became the teachers, and taught a buddy from the other class, what they had learned about how their Ecosystem works.
Mr Jacobs presented us with certificates for the Athletic Sports Day. We were excited to receive ribbons with our certificate too.
