Happy Women’s Day to all the ladies in our school community. While we can spend so many pages featuring all the wonderful women who work at ABIS, let me focus on this young woman. Her names is Ahlam who joined us a couple of months ago as science lab technician. This is Ahlam’s first working experience after graduating with a diploma in chemical engineering and raising a family. In the two months that she has been here, Ahlam has proven herself to be a very capable lab technician, a team player and has the drive to learn and grow in her craft. Just recently, with Mr. Lopez’s guidance and support, she fabricated two microscopes that can magnify 50 to 60% times, and which will allow our primary students to take photos using their smartphones or their iPads. It is wonderful to see Ahlam’s resourcefulness and her willingness to contribute positively to our school community. Watch out for Ahlam’s other science projects!
